Mission Statement

The three main goal of Youth Ministry

Established in 1985 under the direction of Archbishop Daniel Kucera.

To empower young people to live as disciples of Jesus Christ in our world today
To draw young people to responsible participation in the life, mission, and work of the Catholic faith community
To foster the total personal and spiritual growth of each young person

Archdiocese of Dubuque requires one signed annual consent /waiver form for each youth (for all activities ) for both Youth Ministry and Faith Formation

We are striving to connect with God, our friends, our parents, each other. Youth Ministry is here to help make this connections with activities and the time we spend together. YOUTH are welcome to CONNECT and or CONECTADO.

Jovenes de Santa Maria

El grupo de jovenes Conectado se reune cada jueves de 6:30-8:00pm en sala de reuniones de jovenes en (MACS) Marshalltown Chatolic School. ” Dios nos llama a ser sus dicipulos, lo puedes escuchar? ven y mira”. Ven se te invita a ser parte de un grupo de jovenes como tu. (para 7-8 grados, fecha es variada)

St. Mary’s Youth

Connect youth group meeting at St. Mary’s or St. Henry’s youth room, Wenesday 6:30-8:00 pm. “God is calling us to be his diciples can you hear him?” came and see. 7-8 & 9-12 grades are welcome; came to be part of youth group. CONNECT/CONECTADO group

“Calling Youth to serve as leaders in their primary communities”

CONNECT/CONECTADO will be very beneficial for you and for the community.

The goal of the program is to provide you with the tools to become a successful

youth leader.

Middle school Youth Ministry is generally held during school year, (locations, day, & time can vary.) Also we offer these interesting activities outside the Parish gatherings to you:

High School: NDvision NCYC & CHWC

High School Youth Ministry for 9th through 12th graders gathers throughout the school year, with special activities during summer months, some of this activities are:

Ø CONECTADO Group, meeting Thursdays @ 6:30 – 8:15

Ø Connect group, meeting Wenesday @ 6:30-8:00 (day and time can vary)
